1st Grade Coaches

         

          Amanda White is a sophomore this year at HHS.  She has been cheering since 7th grade and her favorite part about cheer is stunting and the friendships.  She isn't sure where she wants to go to college, but she wants to study to become a vet.  In her free time she enjoys hanging out with friends and reading.  An interesting fact about Amanda is that she has a cottage in the UP!

          Elly Sweitzer is a sophomore this year at HHS.  She has been cheering since 7th grade and her favorite part about cheer is tumbling and just being a part of the team.  She wants to attend Michigan State University to cheer and study to become a history teacher.  In her free time she enjoys going to the beach, reading, and hanging out with friends.  An interesting fact about Elly is that she used to do horseback riding!

          Maddie Muench is a senior this year at HHS.  She has been cheering since 7th grade and her favorite part about cheer is tumbling.  She wants to attend either Hope or Michigan State University to study communications and advertising with graphic design.  In her free time she enjoys playing the ukulele and piano, singing in chamber choir and musicals, trying new restaurants with friends, and hula hooping.  An interesting fact about Maddie is that she has won two talent shows!

2nd Grade Coaches

           

          Hailey Pierce is a senior this year at HHS.  She has been cheering for five years and her favorite part about cheer is meeting new people, making new friends, and having a second family.  She isn't sure where she wants to go to college, but she wants to study to become a forensic psychologist.  In her free time she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, swimming, and dirt biking.  An interesting fact about Hailey is that she played several sports before doing cheer!

          Lexi Herrington is a senior this year at HHS.  She has been cheering since 7th grade and her favorite part about cheer is stunting and forming bonds with other team members.  She wants to attend GRCC followed by either Western or Aquinas to study child psychology to become a psychiatrist.  In her free time she enjoys crafting and traveling to new places.  An interesting fact about Lexi is that she loves sloths!

          Maddie Guysi is a sophomore this year at HHS.  She has been cheering since 7th grade and her favorite part about cheer is bonding with the team.  She wants to attend Mississippi State to study something in the medical field.  In her free time she enjoys hanging out with friends.  An interesting fact about Maddie is that she has lived in 4 different states!

          Jadyn Jarosch is a sophomore this year at HHS.  She has been cheering for two years and her favorite part about cheer is stunting.  She plans to attend University of Michigan to study orthopedic surgery.  In her free time she enjoys running.  An interesting fact about Jadyn is that she used to play soccer! 

           Katia Holst is a junior this year at HHS.  She has been cheering since 1st grade and her favorite part about cheer is stunting.  She isn't sure where she wants to go to college, but she wants to study psychology.   In her free time she enjoys hanging out with friends and photography.  An interesting fact about Katia is that she is adopted from Russia!  

          Livie Doerr is a junior this year at HHS. She has been cheering since 1st grade and her favorite part about cheer is stunting.  She isn't sure where she wants to go to college, but she wants to study to become a teacher.  In her free time she enjoys hanging out with her friends and coloring.  An interesting fact about Livie is that she did All-Star cheer for 3 years!

          Morgan Terpstra is a junior this year at HHS.  She has been cheering for ten years and her favorite part about cheer is learning new chants.  She isn't sure where she wants to go to college, but she wants to play lacrosse and study geology.  In her free time she enjoys snowboarding, hiking, and playing lacrosse.  An interesting fact about Morgan is that she played piano for ten years!

         Bethani Sadler is a senior this year at HHS.  She has been cheering since 3rd grade and her favorite part about cheer is backspotting and cheering at the varsity football games.  She is looking to attend Michigan State University to study psychology.  In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and working at her job. An interesting fact about Bethani is that she has an adopted brother from South Korea!

          Emelia Johnson is a sophomore this year at HHS.  She has been cheering for six years and her favorite part about cheer is making new friends, chants, and the memories.  She wants to become a dental hygienist after high school.  In her free time she enjoys training her dog Samson and swimming.  An interesting fact about Emelia is that she has French cousins that live in Italy!

          Lauren Kaluske is a senior this year at HHS.  She has been cheering since 3rd grade and her favorite part about cheer is the friendships and memories she has made.  She plans to attend Grand Valley State University to study elementary education with an endorsement in special needs.  In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, shopping, and hanging out with friends.  An interesting fact about Lauren is that her umbilical cord was tied in a knot when she was born!

          Livvie Kral is a sophomore this year at HHS.  She has been cheering for three years and her favorite part about cheer is team bonding and making new friends.  She isn't sure where she wants to go to college, but she wants to study business.  In her free time she enjoys making bracelets, swimming, and hanging out with friends.  An interesting fact about Livvie is that her birthday only comes once every 4 years (Feb 29)!

          Ava Ham is a sophomore this year at HHS.  She has been cheering since 6th grade and her favorite part about cheer is getting closer with all of the girls on her team.  She isn't sure where she wants to go to college, but she wants to study something in the medical field and work with pediatrics.   In her free time she enjoys snowboarding, hanging out with friends, and boating.  An interesting fact about Ava is that she is a twin! 

           Avary Lester is a sophomore this year at HHS.  She has been cheering for three years and her favorite part about cheer is stunting and tumbling.  She isn't sure where she wants to go to college, but she wants to study to become a nurse practitioner.  In her free time she enjoys fishing, boating, hanging out with friends, and snowboarding.  An interesting fact about Avary is that she danced for 8 years!

          Brielle Wigent is a senior this year at HHS.  She has been cheering since 1st grade and her favorite part about cheer is tumbling and stunting.  She wants to attend Grand Valley State University to study elementary education.  In her free time she enjoys shopping, hanging out with friends, and going to the beach.  An interesting fact about Brielle is that she is a lifeguard!

          Olivia Inchauste is a senior this year at HHS.  She has been cheering since 1st grade and her favorite part about cheer is stunting.  She plans to attend Grand Valley State University to study special education.  In her free time she enjoys going to the beach with her friends and going to the pool.  An interesting fact about Olivia is that she loves to travel!

6th Grade Coaches

            

          Alexa Harper is a sophomore this year at HHS.  She has been cheering since 6th grade and her favorite part about cheer is stunting.  After high school she wants to join the army, then go to college to study music education.  In her free time she enjoys playing the violin, running hurdles, and playing with her pet hermit crabs.  An interesting fact about Alexa is that she has 17 succulents!         

          Emily McGee is a junior this year at HHS.  She has been cheering for 11 years and her favorite part about cheer is stunting and getting to know people.  She plans to attend a local college after graduation, but isn't sure what she wants to study yet.  In her free time she enjoys painting and playing the viola.  An interesting fact about Emily is that she enjoys cliff jumping and bridge jumping with her family in the UP.

          Jenny Carpenter is a senior this year at HHS.  She has been cheering since 4th grade and her favorite part about cheer is cheer camp where they learn new cheers and stunts and become closer as a team.  She plans to become a massage therapist, then go to college to study physical therapy or chiropractics.  In her free time she enjoys painting, lifting, coloring, and track.  An interesting fact about Jenny is that she wants to live in Montana some day!

          Katelyn Smith is a junior this year at HHS.  She has been cheering for seven years and her favorite part about cheer is stunting.   She isn't sure where she wants to go to college, but she wants to study something in the medical field and study abroad.  In her free time she enjoys hanging out with friends.  An interesting fact about Katelyn is that she has never broken a bone!

          Noelle DeJong is a junior this year at HHS.  She has been cheering since 1st grade and her favorite part about cheer is stunting.  She isn't sure where she wants to go to college, but she wants to go somewhere to cheer and possibly study to become an EMT.  In her free time she enjoys gymnastics.  An interesting fact about Noelle is that she has two older sisters that also did cheer!

          Alex Terpstra is a senior this year at Grand Valley State University.  She is double majoring in criminal justice and psychology.  She currently works as an intern at the Grand Rapids Police Department.  She is an HHS alumnus and cheered for Hudsonville for seven years.   This is her 4th year coaching and her favorite part about cheer is coming up with different routines.  In her free time she enjoys working or spending time with her puppy.  An interesting fact about Alex is that she has a yellow lab named Finley! 

          Kiera Holst is a senior this year at Grand Valley State University She is majoring in criminal justice with a minor in information security.  She currently works as an intern at the Grand Rapids Police Department.  She is an HHS alumnus and cheered for Hudsonville for ten years.  This is her 4th year coaching rockets and her favorite part about cheer is stunting.  In her free time she enjoys hanging out with friends and her family.  An interesting fact about Kiera is that she lived in Switzerland for a month last summer!

8th Grade Coaches

           

          Haley Pearson graduated from Grand Valley State University with a major in elementary education and group social studies.  She is currently works as a 4th grade teacher at Coopersville Public Schools.  She is an HHS alumnus and cheered for Hudsonville from 7th-12th grade.  This is her 8th year coaching Rockets and her favorite part about cheer is stunting.  In her free time she enjoys being outside, doing crafts, and spending time with family and friends.  An interesting fact about Haley is that she got to swim next to a sea turtle for a mile while snorkeling in the Caribbean!

          Katie Livingston graduated from Grand Valley State University with a major in elementary education and special education.  She currently works as a special education teacher at Saugatuck Public Schools.  She is an HHS alumnus and cheered for Hudsonville for six years.  This is her 4th year coaching Rockets and her favorite part about cheer is stunting.  In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, camping, and going to the beach.  An interesting fact about Katie is she spent a month living in Tanzania teaching at local schools.
